Located at the foot of the Vosges mountains and the Harmannswillerkopf battlefield, in the village of Wattwiller, the François Schneider Foundation Centre for Contemporary Art offers a year-round programme of exhibitions and cultural events devoted to the theme of water. Inaugurated in 2013, the space is located on the site of a former thermal spring bottling plant, which has been enlarged and transformed. Designed around the theme of light and transparency, the building comprises three exhibition rooms covering more than 2,000 m2. A sculpture garden completes the ensemble.
