The theme of this activity: History

  Climb aboard a real steam train, listed as a historic monument! Departing from Cernay, the tourist and bucolic journey crosses the foothills of the Vosges to arrive in Sentheim, an hour later.

Your students will discover the charm of old-fashioned stations and the nature that surrounds them.

Upon arrival at Sentheim station, 45-minute workshops can accommodate 1 to 2 groups of 20 to 30 students. 

Objective and educational tools:

  • Supervision by volunteers from the Train Thur Doller Alsace,
  • A drawing board available,
  • An educational file,
  • Paid workshops or activities provided by professionals and to be booked in advance (farm animals, mysteries of fossilization, bubbles, stars, railway, cyanotype photographs)...

Good to know:  

  • Green spaces for picnics.
