Climbing and climbing sports: an ideal playground!
Outdoors on the various rocks suitable for the practice, but also indoors, climbing is in the spotlight in the Thann-Cernay region.
Explore the four natural sites in the area dedicated to climbing and rock climbing: the Rocher du Krapenfels, located in Bourbach-le-Haut, the Rocher du Hirnelestein in Steinbach, whose summit offers a splendid view of the Alsace plain, the Black Forest, the Jura mountains and in good weather the Bernese Alps, the natural climbing site Rocher du Kattenbachy and the Roche du Rosenbourg in Thann.
Finally, for indoor climbing enthusiasts, the sports hall in Bitschwiller-lès-Thann and the Rives de la Thur sports centre in Cernay offer climbing walls for all levels.
