After the war, the Hartmannswillerkopf became a place of remembrance for those who fought in the battle. As well as the necropolis where the men who fell on the battlefield are laid to rest, the national monument built in their memory will be presented to you.
Goals and teaching tools:
- Supervision by specialized site guides,
- School booklets to work on before, during and after the visit,
- Adapted to different school curricula,
- Available in German.
- A bilingual geology application on site at the museum.
To note:
- Bring good shoes and rain gear for the battlefield,
- Bring flashlights or headlamps,
- Possibility of lunching outside and sheltering under the Historical in bad weather,
- Site and battlefield not accessible to PRM.

- Snack bar on site.
- Most excursions take place in the mountains. Please check distance and altitude difference.
