Along the water, be Na'thur from Thann

45 Km Half day 342 Intermediate

Along the river "la Thur", discover the secrets of hydraulic power and the industrial development of the Thur valley - educational panels crisscross the route and take you on a journey into the past to the time when our river was lined with mills: paper mill, flour mill, oil mill, etc.

The route provides access to Lake Kruth-Wildenstein, the largest reservoir in the Vosges Mountains, which is a fantastic leisure centre overlooked by the ruins of Schlossberg Castle.

A departure from Cernay is also possible along the cycle path which runs alongside the southernmost vineyards of the Alsace Wine Route.
